Archives and Library Science

SonataBy a very lucky chance encounter, I started working in archives a few years ago.  Working at the University of Illinois Archives, I became enchanted by the unique stories contained in every box and the ability for researchers to connect directly with the past.  Since then, I earned a Masters degree in Library and Information Science with a Certificate in Archives and Special Collections from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois and have loved my journey working in archives and libraries ever since.

My research interests are performing arts archives, oral history, intellectual property/copyright, digital scholarship, and universal accessibility of special collections.
